Shusai HIRABAYASHI, the founder, founded Hirabayashi Factory.
The oldest factory in the industry specializing in valve manufacturing in Japan. Based in Minato-ku, Tokyo, the factory mainly manufactured gunmetal valves.
1917
Name changed to Hirabayashi Seisakusho
Moved to Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.
1930
Kazuo HIRABAYASHI is appointed representative director.
Reorganized as Hirabayashi Seisakusho. Manufactured cast iron, cast steel, forged steel valves, steam traps, etc.
1941
A new factory was built in Sano, Tochigi Prefecture, and engaged in the manufacture of valves for wartime standard ships.
1946
Prepared to relocate the plant to the current headquarters location.
1952
Established Heiwa Valve Co, Ltd.
Improved our facilities and technology, and transformed ourselves into a stainless steel valve factory in order to respond to the times of technological innovation.
1965
Developed various types of automatic valves, safety valves, and pressure reducing valves, with flush bottom tank valves as our main products.

Taking advantage of overseas export to Taiwan, we started to expand the HEIWA brand to other countries.

Commercialized and started sales of RICHIL®* Lining Tank Valve. (Fluoropolymer Coating)

Commercialized and started sales of tank valves with thermometers. Diversification of our products to support Japanese industry, which has become an advanced information society due to the technological development of information and communication equipment.
