LINING TANK VALVE

The lining tank valve, in which the wetted part is coated with resin, is an effective product for controlling highly corrosive fluids that can easily corrode stainless steel and handling highly viscous fluids that are difficult to control.

It can be used to maintain high-quality fluids and is ideal for handling inorganic acids, organic acids, and alkalis with confidence.

The lining tank valves, in which wetted parts are covered with fluorocarbon resin (*) or rubber, have various functions due to the characteristics of the lining material.

Especially the tank valve with fluorocarbon resin lining has several characteristics and several grades that you can choose from for your intended use. The anti-static fluorocarbon resin lining will not accumulate static electricity, which can reduce the risk of igniting explosive or flammable fluids.

* What is fluorocarbon resin?
"Fluorocarbon resin" is a general term for "plastics containing fluorine atoms". For example, if fluorine is added to poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA), it will be fluorine-containing acrylic resin; and if fluorine is added to polyurethane (PU), it will be fluorine-containing polyurethane resin. The types of "fluorocarbon resin" are extremely wide, among which "Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)" is one of the typical fluorocarbon resins.

Our fluorocarbon resin lining tank valves are commonly known as "RICHIL LINING® Tank Valves". RICHIL LINING® is a registered trademark of NIPPON FUSSO CO., LTD. It is an epoch-making "thick baked fluorocarbon resin lining" with a standard thickness of 1 to 3 mm. At our company, we have designed a wooden mold for casting the valve body exclusively for lining tank valves and labeled "RICHIL" on the valve body to differentiate it from other valves and manufacture it as a high-performance lining valve.
