Compact and high output
The Bellofram Actuator is a single-acting actuator of our proprietor design. The interior of this type of actuator is partitioned with special rubber. The actuator is opened and closed by pneumatic pressure. By keeping the effective pressure-receiving area constant during the operation of the actuator, we have achieved smooth operation over a long stroke.
Non-sliding type with long service life
Bellofram, which combines the characteristics of both bellows and diaphragm, has no sliding parts, so it does not deteriorate over time or due to friction; thus it has a long service life.
The Bellofram single-acting actuator is light-weighted and sturdy and weighs much lighter than the conventional single-acting cylinder.
Commercialized stainless steel Bellofram actuator
The housing of an actuator is normally made of FC200, but we have commercialized a stainless steel Bellofram actuator that uses SCS13A as housing. High corrosion resistance is achieved by using stainless steel for all parts that come into contact with the outside atmosphere.
